Marquette Funeral Homes, Ltd. has been serving the greater Chicagoland area since 1929. Our family funeral business was founded by the late Anthony B. Petkus and his wife, the late Agnes Petkus. Together they provided funeral service when it was still done in the family residence. They started with small storefront funeral facilities during the Depression. They brought three sons into the world, and one, the late Donald A. Petkus, followed in their footsteps. Together, they built the Petkus Marquette Funeral Home in 1962. Through hard work and many hours together, the family funeral business flourished. Service unsurpassed was and still is the family's goal. Donald M. Petkus, the son of the late Donald A. Petkus, joined the family business in 1977 and runs the day to day operation of all the family funeral homes.
