Obituary for Ann Jurkevicius Beitner

She was born to Maria and Vincas on July 5, 1940 in Lithuania. Ann graduated from High School in Bridgeport.
Ann married Otto Beitner in 1964. She later worked and retired from MacLean-Fogg. She was a beautiful, kind, and gentle soul. She enjoyed attending and volunteering for St. Joseph Church in Richmond, IL. Ann was always a loving Grandmother, Mother and Wife. She had a special relationship with her granddaughter, Jessica. Ann loved to explore the country on family vacations, especially walking on the beach collecting shells and sand dollars with her granddaughter.
Ann appreciated the small pleasures in life; gardening and planting flowers visiting with family and friends, and reading a good book. She was also an excellent seamstress and enjoyed needle point and quilting. Ann was a good cook; her family loved her Kugelis and Potato Dumplings.
Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years, Otto Beitner; son, Paul (Margie); grandchild, Jessica; sisters, Martha, Gerda; her brother John; and nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bridget; and two brothers, Juozas and Stasys.
